My mom makes a fresh strawberry pie that is AWESOME! You will need 1 quart fresh strawberries, cream cheese, lemon juice, strawberry glaze and a pie crust. First, set the cream cheese out to soften, once soft put 1tsp lemon juice and the cream cheese into a bowl and mix well. If you have a premade pie crust that doesn't need to be baked, line the bottom of the crust with the cream cheese. If you use other pie shells...I personally love Pillsbury roll out pie shells, bake and let cool. After shell cools place the cream cheese in the bottom. Slice up about half to 3/4 of the strawberries and mix with the glaze. Put strawberries in pie shell. This makes the best strawberry pie. :D

1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust
10 ounces frozen strawberries
1 cup granulated sugar
2 egg whites
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Dash of salt
1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped
1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract

Thaw strawberries in a colander. When they reach room temperature, combine them in a large mixing bowl with the sugar, egg whites, lemon juice and dash of salt. Beat until very stiff, about 15 to 20 minutes.

Fold the whipped cream and vanilla or almond extract into the beaten berry mixture and pour into the prepared pie crust. Freeze the dessert for 2 to 3 hours or until very firm.
