Corned beef is an Irish favorite in my family. We have a traditional Irish meal on New Years day every year. Our traditional New Years day meal is as follows:

Corned Beef
Boiled Cabbage
Black Eyed Peas
Potatoes

We usually have other things with it like green beans, rolls, ect. :)
