My recipe is the same as Crazyaboutmykids' recipe but I use Cream of Chicken soup instead of Cream of Mushroom and I use Sour Cream instead of milk. :D

The best squash casserole I ever ate was this one
6c. squash, thinly sliced--3c. cornbread stuffing--1/4c. melted butter--1 can cream of broccoli soup--1/2c. sour cream--1/2c. shredded carrot--1/2c. shredded mild cheddar cheese--1 med. onion thinly sliced
Mix stuffing with butter. Save 1/2c. Spread remaining into a 2-qt casserole. Mix together remaining ingrediants and spread over stuffing. Sprinkle saved stuffing on top and bake in preheated 350 degree oven 40 minutes.

For the casserole, I have the same recipe, but I also add
1/2 to 1 cup of sour cream (cut milk in 1/2)
1 1/2 cup shredded chedder cheese

this seems to make it better I think

7c. raw squash,diced
1 lrg onion diced
1 stick butter
1 sm pkg of herb or cornbread stuffing mix
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1/4 can milk

cook squash and onion together about 6 min. drain it add soup and milk to the squash and onionand mix it up well. in a seperate pan melt the butter and add the stuffing stir it up until all is coated. put 1/2 stuffing mix in a greased up baking dish. pour the squash over the stuffing then add the rest of the stuffing on top. bake for 20-30 minutes at 350* this a favorite and its fast and easy to do..
