spankysmama I made your dip this weekend and used vermont white cheddar on top - WOW!! Thanks for posting. This is now one of our favorites!!

Knorr Spinach Dip
1 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 16 oz container sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 package Knorr Vegetable recipe mix
1 8 oz can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3 green onions, chopped
Combine all ingredients and chill at least 2 hours. Overnight is even better. Serve with your favorite dippers.

spanysmama,I tried the recipe you posted at the ladys Christmas party a couple of weeks ago it is awesome served nice and hot,Ididn't think I would like it because of the atichoke but,it is great!

cup of sour cream, pacjage of ranch dressing powder mix, package of frozen spinach... why complicate something simple? Just put the packages in the trash before you have to tell how you really made it. I let them think I did something fancy.

Spinach & Artichoke Dip
Ingredient 8 oz.Cream cheese 4 oz.Sour cream 3 cups Spinach 1 cup Artichoke heart quarters Olive oil Garlic 3 oz.Parmesan cheese - shredded 2 oz. Shredded white cheddar 2 oz. White wine Salt and pepper
Cooking instructions:
Heat olive oil, add garlic and saute spinach and artichoke hearts. Add to cream cheese and sour cream, mix with Parmesan cheese. Place in porcelain or glass container, top with white cheddar cheese and bake till hot and brown on top. Serve with tortilla chips.

Alaskan Spicy Spinach Dip INGREDIENTS 2 pounds pepperjack cheese 2 cups half-and-half cream 1 large tomato, diced 1 onion, diced 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper 3 cups spinach, rinsed and chopped or frozen ,thawed and squeeze dry DIRECTIONS Over a double boiler slowly melt the pepperjack cheese. When the cheese is melted whisk in half and half until smooth and creamy. Stir in tomato, onion, red bell pepper and chopped spinach. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve warm with tortilla chips or bread.

I tried some last night that I got from the deli at Food Lion. It was YUMMY!!! Anyone have a good recipe??? Also, do you eat it with anything other than crackers?
