Thai Soup

Start with a large stock pot, fill half with water, heat to boiling. Add 2 or 3 tablespoons of Tom Yum Paste. Allow to blend.
Add 2 cups chopped boneless, skinless, chicken breast, (uncooked) to water. Cook about 5 minutes at slow boil.
Add 2 cups chopped Brocolli, 2 cups Cauliflower, 2 cups, carrrots, 1 large onion, and 1 large pkg of mushrooms. Cook about 15 minutes at slow boil.
Add splash of lemon juice and a 1/2 pound of shelled and deveined shrimp, chopped into soup mixture. Cook another 3 to 4 minutes. Serve with white rice. I add cayene pepper to soup for extra heat.
Hope you enjoy!

Bushman, I made this last night for supper and it was wonderful. Fresh corn would be good. This recipe was sent to me from my daughter in Tennessee.

Very good

Chicken Corn Chowder

2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 (12) can whole kernel yellow corn (Reserve liquid)
3 medium onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. Butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp Accent
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper

I used a stock pot to cook this in.
Cook onions in 1 tablespoon oil until transparent. Take onions out of oil and add butter. Blend in the flour, cornstarch, Accent, salt, & pepper.
Heat until bubbly. Remove from heat and add corn liquid gradually, stirring constantly. Add 1 1/2 quarts of milk, corn, chicken, and onions. Cover and return to heat until thickened (about 20 minutes on low heat.

For thicker chowder, add more flour and cornstarch.
