Here's a recipe you may enjoy. I'm including the entire recipe though I don't use either basil, marjoram, or bay leaves in mine. Chives are a great addition, as is a crushed clove of garlic...but use your taste to tell you about that.

Serves 6

Ingredients:3 pounds chicken pieces, cooked (and, if already cooked, cubed or shredded as you please. Otherwise follow steps in directions listed below.)4 cups water4 cups chicken broth1 teaspoon seasoned salt1 teaspoon salt , or to taste, depending on saltiness of broth1/4 teaspoon pepper (I omit as I am alergic to black pepper)1 leek or small onion, chopped1 carrot , chopped (I shred mine)2 stalks celery , chopped1/4 cup parsley , chopped1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram or basil (optional)1 bay leaf2 tsp crushed, dried or finely diced, fresh sweet pepper6 ounces noodlesDirections:

Place all ingredients except noodles in the Crock Pot. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Remove chicken and bay leaf from pot; take meat from bones, dice, and return to broth, and add the noodles. Cook another hour or until noodles are done (about 1/2 hour on high). Or, cook the noodles separately and add them just before serving.

Does anyone have the recipe for crockpot spaghetti that uses a can of v-8 juice? You also add the uncooked spaghetti noodles to the crockpot.

Hard to beat a nice beef roast cooked in crock. Put in crock, along with a little water, sprinkle with worcestershire sauce, and add about 3/4 pack of dry onion soup on top. Cook until tender.

Good eating.

I cook almost all my venison in the crock pot. I put about 3-4 lbs of meat in, then add a 12oz. bottle of All Seasons 30 min. marinade in either chipolte citrus or mesquite flavor, fill to just covering the meat with water turn on for 4-6hrs and enjoy! You can add onions and other veggies, but I don't cause my kiddos won't eat them. They love the meat this way though! this turns out so tender it falls apart.

I make this italian chicken all the time and its great! Great for you as well!

In the crockpot put boneless skinless chicken breasts (thawed but uncooked), then top with 1/2 cup fat free italian dressing, 1/4 cup parm cheese, italian spices like oregano, and some garlic powder. Then take potatoes cut into wedges, place them around and on top of the chicken, cover them with the same as the chicken (dressing, cheese, spices) and cook on low a couple hours.
