yankee slaw
1 head of cabbage
a tsp of sugar mayo to taste
add sugar if you like
we pretty much just do whatever to taste because it always depends on your mood try different things by adding a little of something and if it tastes like it needs more add more but add slowly if you put too much you cant take it out

Mine is same as Bushman's recipe except I reduce the sugar by 1/4 cup and replace it with 1/4 cup of Splenda. I also add 1 Tbsp prepared mustard and 1/4 cup of canola oil so that it will keep a little longer. If slaw is going to be used with chicken as a side dish then I add 1 medium finely grated carrot.

Igloo Chili
1-2lbs ground beef
1 medium onion
2-3 tablespoons brown sugar
(I do it by taste, sometimes it needs more)
salt & pepper
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 8oz. cans of hunts tomato sauce.
You may need more tomato sauce depends on how much hamburger you use.
Brown hamburger and onion drain off
excess fat then add the other ingredients
Simmer 45 to 50 minutes

Hot Dog Slaw
8 cups very finely chopped cabbage (1 head)
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 c mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar
Be sure that the cabbage is chopped up into very
fine pieces (about the size of rice kernels).
Combine the sugar, salt, pepper, mayonnaise,
vinegar, and beat until smooth.
Add the cabbage.
Mix well.
