this may sound cruel, but my first child was so picky i asked the doctor what to do when she started school and he said don't pack her lunch and she will see all the other kids eating and eat too. he was right and now she eats almost anything. i guess they need to try things on there own and not because there parents want them too. it's called independents

My daughter likes Viennia Sausage (i know-yuck!). But those worked well in her lunch box. I was worried that she couldn't open the can or would cut herself on it so I always drained them and put them in a zip-lock.

I know all about picky eaters. At one point I shaved the tops of broccoli and covertly mixed it into peanut butter sandwiches. Dipping apple slices in lemon water helps them stay fresh looking until lunch. Smoothies are a great idea too. Good luck!!

I don't know how old your daughter is, but when my son's were real young, I use to cut their sandwichs into shapes using cookie cutters. Yes, there is a lot of waste with the borders, but I would eat that part. Veggie's -- if she likes to dip them in ranch, add a drop of food coloring Kids also like to put things together, meats and cheese cut into shapes that she can stack on crackers. Go to Amazon, and look for a book on kids sleep-overs, or parties, and they will have some ideas -- and from my experience buy the used books. Thermos ?? can't help you with that one Hopefully one of these will help you.

Does anyone have and school lunch suggestion. My daughter is kinda picky, and I want to fix her some healthy but simple stuff for lunch. Also does anyone know what and where I can get a container, thermas cup that will keep her lunch warm, the one we have doesn't do a very good job. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated
