I've never heard of kraut dumplings. I love dumplings though.

I am serious. They sell it in a can. Evidently it is a great tenderizer.

Are you serious? Kraut juice and no sauerkraut? Only people with no sense and plent of cents would pass by the sauerkraut and juice. That is stupid. Is it used in that many recipes that there is a true market for it?

told me they had them when she was growing up. i have been tempted too try them but im not sure of how too do it. it could be interesting

Tomato Tang sounds delicious imust try this after my next hangover which might be in the morning. Gotta run to the store for ingridients.

I'm going to try it in a marinade with London Broil. I'll let you know what happens.

While I was in Germany they would take tough cuts of beef and soak in kraut juice.I did'nt know why till now ,but it was great.
They would cook it with potatos and caraway seed .It was so rich.

I just had a round with some sauerkraut juice (I love to drink it but it doesn't love me) and was reading the label. I bought it at Lowes and it is just juice, no sauerkraut. On the back it says to use it as a miracle meat tenderizer and marinade, adds zest to mixed drinks, natural laxative and heals canker sores.

Have any of you used it to marinade meat? How'd it work. I bet it would work great with london broil.

Tomato Tang

4 parts tomato juice
1part kraut juice
horseradish or other spice seasoning to taste

add vodka to make bloody mary

pour over ice.
