Thanks Calla, this is exactly what I was wanting. If you haven't tried this recipe you should...it's sooo good. I even like it cold with ice. It also makes your house smell so good...especially over the holidays.

Here is a recipe I have, but I have never made it. Hope this is what you wanted!

OLD FASHIONED RUSSIAN TEA

2 qts. boiling water
4 sticks cinnamon
1 tsp. whole cloves
4 tea bags

Bring water to boil in large enamel kettle with lid. Add spice and tea bags and steep 5 minutes. Strain, then add:

3 c. sugar
1 qt. orange juice
5 lemons, juiced
3 oranges, juiced

If clear tea is desired, strain juiced first. Serve hot.

I am looking for a recipe for Russian Tea. I don't want the one for the dry mix. It's one that you simmer all day with the tea and lots of spices and juices. I used to have the recipe my grandmother used. It is sooo good and I miss making it. Thanks so much
