How did you catch your groundhog? you cook with carrots, onions and potatoes.

I've only had groundhog roasted in the oven but seems like crockpot would work too.

I don't add any water only coffee sometimes 3 or 4 cups if it needs more liquid.

I add a cup of black coffee to mine too. Gives it that "au jus" flavor.

I use a can of cream of mushroom soup, add a can of water, little pepper & minced dry onions.

I usually put Lipton Onion Soup mix over top along with a can of Campbells mushroom soup.

I do stew beef and a roast just like Mommotwo does except I add several cups of dark strong coffee. It makes a good gravy.

Beef? If so, I usually cook mine in swanson beef stock mixed with lipton onion soup mix and red pepper.
