another good place for the best rubs is the amish store down at buck shoals. since finding them, i dont marinate or use much sauces to cook meat any longer because they have all flavors and styles for any kind of meat.

BBQ (No Sugar) Rub 1/3 cup kosher salt 1/4 cup paprika 3 Tbsp Chili powder 2 Tbsp black pepper 1 Tbsp ground ***in 1 Tbsp Granulated garlic 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp dry mustard (if you have it) 1/2 tsp msg (if you like it) This make a good, big batch for use on just about anything. Store in air tight jar. Sweet Black Pepper Rub 2 Tbs granulated cane sugar 1 Tbs seasoned salt 1 Tbs onion salt 1 Tbs celery salt 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper 1 tsp ground marjoram 1/2 tsp ground thyme 4 cups apple juice, as needed To make the rub, combine the rub ingredients and blend well. Season the turkey evenly inside and out with the rub mixture. Kansas City-style Rib Rub 1/3 cup light brown sugar 1/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup paprika 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning 6 tablespoons kosher salt 2 tablespoons onion powder 1 tablespoon garlic salt 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 teaspoon mustard powder 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper Combine all the ingredients in a medium bowl, and stir to combine. Be sure to crumble any lumps that may form with the sugar or spices. Use for meats and seafood to be grilled, as well as for making the barbecue sauce. Any unused rub may be stored in an airtight container and kept in a cool, dry place for up to 6 weeks. Indian Rub 1 t salt 1 t paprika (link) 1 t curry powder 1 t granulated garlic 1 t ginger 1 t ground ***in 1/2 t cayenne powder Big Bob's Rub 1 tsp Dry Mustard 1 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes 1 tsp Cinnamon 1/2 cup Brown Sugar 2 tsp Paprika 2 Tablespoons Coarse Black Pepper 2 Tablespoons Sea Salt 2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder 1 1/2 Tablespoons Onion Powder 1 tsp Cayenne pepper 2 tsp ***in Mix together and store in airtight container in a dark place. Use on Beef,Pork or Chicken. Porkers Rib Rub 2 cups paprika 3/4 cup lemon pepper 1/4 cup coarse ground black pepper 1/4 cup white pepper 1/4 cup onion salt 1/4 cup granulated garlic 1/4 cup chili powder 3/4 cup brown sugar Mix all ingredients and store in an air tight container. Carolina Rib Rub 2 tablespoons salt 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons ground ***in 2 tablespoons chili powder 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 1/4 cup paprika
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well
