I love good coleslaw. The way I make mine is...I shred as much cabbage as I want. Then I add salt, pepper, sugar , mayonaise and just a couple drops of vinegar...yum yum

A helpful F Y I, salt your shredded cabbage BEFORE adding any other ingredients and let stand for at least a half hour to remove some of the liquid from the cabbage. This keeps your slaw from getting watery later on.

I Chop my cabbage with water in the blender, then drain it in a colander. I put mayo( start with a big spoonful for half a small cabbage head), salt, pepper, sugar (1 TBSP to start) and vinegar to taste. Careful with the vinegar. Start with 1/2 tsp., then add more if needed. Stir it up and enjoy!!

Bushman, that is the way I make it, except I don't add the oil. I always love it, especially on hot dogs!
