My mom made one when I was a child that was called (I think) a 7 Day Cake. I'll look around and see if I can find the recipe. Sadly for us, she is no longer with us so I can't ask her.

mdancy, I posted one that is on the page with bushman's and it uses sourcream and not sweetened cond.milk. It is a real good recipe. see if that is the one you are looking for. Let it sit for a day and it will soak the sour cream and sugar into the cake a little more. Liz

Use Bushman's recipe. This is the same as I make and it is delicious.

I think its called refrigerator coconut cake. I know you put cool whip on top and coconut... Does anyone have a recipe for this? Thanks
