The recipe that Bushman sent us actually has coconut in it. It is one of the best pies I have ever had. It does make 3 pies.

Here's hint, reduce white sugar to 1/2 cup and increase brown sugar to 1/2. I've found this cuts the over-sweetness of the pie. If you plan on baking a regular pecan pie, substitute all white sugar with brown. This gives the pie a chewier texture

Bushman is this the one that you sent iem and myself? if it is have another pie crust ready cause we made it twice and it made 3 pies each time...

Chocolate Pecan Pie 2 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust 4 eggs, beaten 3/4 cup white sugar 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 cup light corn syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350º F. In a large bowl, blend together the eggs, white sugar, brown sugar, flour, butter, corn syrup and vanilla. Add the chocolate chips and pecans; mix well and pour into pie crusts. Bake at 350 ºF for 40 to 45 minutes
