Are you talking about a black walnut pound cake (uses ******* flavoring as well as chopped black walnuts or chopped hickory nuts, or butternuts)? If so then let me know as I have access to that recipe in one of my old cook books. My mother used to make the hickory nut sugar cookies and the walnut cake when I was a small child...and later when I was able to collect, crack, and remove the meats from the hickory nuts. So good
