Pecan Tarts or Pie 1 box cook & serve Vanilla pudding 1 cup light corn syrup 3/4 cup evaporated milk 1 egg slightly beaten 1 cup chopped pecans Makes 1 pie or 8 Bake for 30 to 35 minutes for tarts Pies bake 40 minutes or till done. Pecan Pie (using no cornsyrup) Makes 2 Pies: 2 cups firmly packed brown sugar 1 stick butter melted 2 Tbsp. cornmeal 2 Tbsp. self rising flour 3 eggs beaten 3/4 cup whole or canned milk 2 Tbsp. vannila extract 1 cup chopped pecans 2 regular (not deep dish) nine inch pie shells Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients well, divide between 2 pie shells. Bake 40-45 minutes! Pecan Pie 3 eggs slightly beaten 1 C. Karo syrup 1 C. sugar 2 T. butter melted 1 t. vanilla 1 1/2 C. pecan pieces 1 deep dish pie crust Stir all ingredients well and pour into pie crust. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes until set. Oatmeal Pie (Mock Pecan) 2 eggs 1 stick melted butter or margarine 1 tsp vanilla 2/3 cup sugar 2/3 cup white Karo syrup 2/3 cup uncooked oatmeal Stir together the ingredients and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350° oven until brown and firm, about 45 minutes. German Chocolate Pecan Pie 3c sugar 1 stick marg. melted 4 eggs beaten 1 tall can pet milk 7 Tb. cocoa pinch of salt 1 teas.vanilla 2 c.coconut 1c chopped pecans Mix and pour into 3 unbaked pie sheels. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes
