I just made this twice this over the past couple weeks - super easy - you mix and bake in the pan! I put a dark chocolate glaze on top but you can do what you like. Also I used a glass dish so mine took a bit longer than 30 minutes.
It really only takes minutes to prepare and the family really liked it - good if you're in a pinch which it seems I ALWAYS AM - LOL!
Quick Cake - Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sifted cake flour 1 cup white sugar 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup water 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup white vinegar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Have ready an un-greased 8 inch square pan.
2. Sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt into an un-greased pan. Make a well in the center and pour in the water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Mix until well blended.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.
4. Frost or sprinkle some powdered sugar on top after cooled

I need a simple recipe that is delectable. I need something that is quick an easy for a not so established chef.
