correction on the receipe that calls for 14 tsp lemon pepper. That should read 1/4 tsp lemon pepper. Sorry for the typo.

Here are two receipes for these crackers:

3/4 cup canola or safflower oil
1 box (11 ounce size) oyster crackers
1 one ounce package of ranch dressing mix (such as Hidden Valley)
1/3 cup parmesan cheese

Mix oil, drssing mix and parmesian cheese in large bowl and add crackers.
Mix well until oil is absorbed.
Let stand for two to three hours. Stir occasionally.
Store in a gallon size freezer bag. They'll keep for about two weeks if you hide them away; otherwise, they'll be gone in a very short time.

Another version of the same receipe calls for 14 tsp of lemon pepper
1/4 to 1 tsp of dillweed or "It's a Dilly" seasoning
1/4 to 1/2 tsp garlic powder or garlic salt

My grandma used to use oyster crackers, ranch mix, etc and bake them. I have no idea what the "etc" was, but am on a mission to find out. Has anyone heard of this? What is the recipe? My grandma has passed and we forgot about the crackers until the other night and my mom and I were trying to figure it out. Thanks!
