Mix grapefruit juice and gin, too taste. Add just enough grape juice to turn it purple. Careful... it will slip up on you.

Wow, memories. Ours was always made in a 55 gal green trash can. How did we survive college?

a very stout liquor that you get at the ABC store. You are not supposed to drink it straight but I've seen men do that.

Good Lord! The last time I drank PJ, it was made in the bathtub. I am so old. Had some out of a trash can too. Fruit, fruit juice and ever clear. After a couple of glasses, who cares.

I don't know how to make PJ quick. PJ (purple Jesus) is meant to be made slow. Mine used to take 5 days. Take pineapple chunks 4 days before and soak in ever clear. You choose fruit to be in the bottom of the PJ and soak it in ever clear for the number of days you think it will hold up, but not more than 4 because you typically drink the PJ at the 4th or 5th day. Then I used to get different juices and make a fruit punch which you would need to water down a little with the ever clear, all according to taste. The punch you make the day you plan on serving the PJ and put the fruit chunks in it. Everyone makes PJ different. I typically put pineapple, orange, grape and cranberry juice in mine and put pineapple chunks, apple chunks, grapes and mandarin oranges. I am forgetting one of the fruits I used to put in it. Some people put sprite or ginger ale in theirs but I never did that. Good Luck.
Some folks apparently make it differently: http://www.drinkswap.com/pu...-jesus.htm
