Someone sent me this fun sounding, easy recipe that the kids will like.

SERVES 10 (change servings and units)
Change to: Servings US Metric Close

Ingredients

*

1 (10 count) can refrigerated biscuits
* oil or Crisco shortening (for frying)
* frosting (optional) or powdered sugar (optional)

Directions

1. Heat 1 inch of oil or Crisco Shortening in a skillet or heat up a Deep Fat Fryer or Fry Daddy.
2. Separate biscuits, lay each one on a paper towel until ready to fry.
3. Hold each biscuit inbetween your hands leaving thumbs free.
4. With one of your thumbs, make a hole in each biscuit.
5. Fry in the hot oil until brown.
6. Turn over and fry until brown on the other side.
7. Cool the doughnuts.
8. Frost them or sprinkle with Powdered Sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon/sugar mixture, instant cocoa mix, or anything you like. .
