When they are done cooking, put them in water with some ice cubes for about 10-15 min.
The sudden cold will form that moisture between the egg and the 'skin', making them easy to peel.
Never heard about the 'salt' thing.

Ok egg people here is what really works every time. Start with cold water of course, bring eggs to a boil, turn off heat, and let eggs sit and cook in the hot water for about 10 min. while you finish cooking. Then, pour off hot water replace with more cold water for a minute.
Take the blasted egg, and roll it around on the counter until the shell is shattered all over. Shells come off in big pieces. Works every time.

The reason this works is, as the egg finishes cooking and then cooling, the egg will shrink slightly away from the shell, leaving the shell and the thin membrame intact. Wala, perfect boiled eggs. I eat boiled eggs often, and this never fails. Even fresh eggs.

I peel my eggs from the outside in....

also helps to run cold water over them and roll them around in the pot to crack every shell. i also start at the fat end of the egg where the air space usually is located and peel under running water. i cooked 8 fresh from the arse eggs saturday and all lof them came out looking good and intact.

The really fresh eggs will almost always stick no matter how you peel them.

Crack the egg, then roll the egg back and forth between your palms and the shell will come right off.

pour cold water over them after boiling & let them sit for a few minutes, I always crack them and put them back in the cold water, for a few more minutes, then I peel them, I never have any sticking problems.

Never peel a hot egg. Cold makes the difference. Fruits and Veggies spoil, it is the nature of the beasts. However, I bought those bags as adverised on TV and they are a miracle.

slide a spoon under the peeling once you have cracked it, and older eggs peel easier than fresh eggs.

Honey, do you need me to come down and teach you to peel an egg? =)~

You need to make sure it is completely cooled down, before peeling, or the egg peels off with the shell.

I hate buying fruit, it never stays fresh very long--esp nanas and strawberries

How do you keep fresh fruits and vegetables fresh the longest? such as bananas, apples, clementines etc.

How do you keep dust bunnies away? I hate dusting!
