I love pork chops and am always looking for new ways to cook them. Here is my favorite way:

4 lean pork chops
1/2 small onion
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 TBS. cooking oil
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2/3 c. milk
1/3 c. water

Chop half of a small onion and place it in a skillet with the pork chops and seasoning. Brown the pork chops and onions. Mix the milk and the water and the soup in a separate bowl and then pour on the pork chops. Cover and simmer for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Alternatively, you can brown the pork chops and then pour everything into an oven dish, cover, and bake for 30-45 minutes until the meat is tender.
The gravy tastes wonderful on mashed potatoes or white rice.
