I forgot to say that we have that combo with pork chops with barbecue sauce on them.

I don't know why but we always have macaroni and cheese and baked beans with pork chops. Great combo for us.
Daddy p, hubby says he likes your idea best and want you over here to cook for him. lololol

I always said that porkchops go with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes, and pinto beans with cornbread , of course....

We like fried pork chop with two eggs over medium, gravy & biscuit, and a couple of slices of a homegrown tomato. MmMmMm

Candied apples or sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes with cream gravy, hot biscuits with honey, cauliflower with white sauce, steamed cabbage or broccoli, brussels sprouts, pintos, crowder peas, field peas with snaps, creamy cole slaw, ---- just about anything!
