Please teach me to make sausage gravy

we make our sausage gravy and country ham grave together by frying finely crumbled sausage in a pan until brown and continue making the gravy as usual. this is how we make it at Jacks drive in

or ya can cheat . go to the bread store on 268 they sell
..peppered gravy mix.. (or any grocery store ) in little pouches
(like martha white muffins come in) .follow the directions then stir in 1/3 lb of cooked,scrambled ,drained sausage . not as good as the other but ok .......................................
..................................................* maple and sage flavored sausage are not good choices when making sausage gravy :P

1/2 roll of yer fav sausage start browning and mashing up
med - med-hi heat add bout 1/4 cup of self rising flour when its bout 2/3 done might ( may have to add a touch of cooking oil needs to be liquidie not pastie depends on how much grease is in the sausage you use) keep stirring n cooking n mashing bout 4-5 minutes more on med-med-hi heat (sausage done in about 2 min flour needs to cook a little longer but not till brown) pour 1-1.5 quarts whole milk in (salt to taste aprox 1/16-1/8 teaspoon. couple of shakes of pepper
(till speckled. remember adds heat )cook over
med-med hi heat (need to boils just a little)for bout 4 minutes till thick as you want it .
keep stirring if it gets too thick thin it down with a little warm water
entire cooking time aprox 15 minutes (start to finish).
makes enough to cover 6-8 biscuits

I can make gravy pretty well, but something is missing. I love the taste of Hadleys gravy. Can someone tell me step by step how to cook it. Measurements and everything. Thank you.
