Pinto Bean Pie

Pinto Pie
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup margarine
1 heaping cup cooked (leftover) pinto beans, mashed
2 9" pie shells, unbaked
Blend sugars, eggs and butter till creamy.
Add beans. Blend well.
Pour into pie shells.
Bake at 375* for 20 mins.,
then 350* for 25 mins.
or til knife inserted in center comes out clean.

mysterymchine, The pinto pie recipe is posted on the first page of recipe exchange. I started on under pinto pie and bushman added one too. It sure does taste like a pecan pie. I have fooled alot of people with it. Liz

Does anyone have the recipe for Pinto Bean Pie? Seriously, it tastes like Pecan Pie, just cheaper to make.
