i have pickled corn all my life, and yes if you would like some i would be more than glad to make it for you, there will be no charge for i do it cause i enjoy it. however you will need to supply the corn and pickling salt, however it is getting late in the season for that i go by the signs and the next good time to pickle is oct. 11 and 12th if you are still interested call me at 902-3915 i have some you can sample if you would like.

my mom has got some corn pickling now. she just uses salt and water in a sack with a rock on top. my mom makes this every year for us, she does beans also but i dont think she done any this year.

Does anyone out there still pickle beans,also corn the old timey way,I have tried to buy some at several different place and they had used vinegar to pickle,needless to say thay wasnt fit to eat,if anyone has any to spare pm me and I will gladly pay you for them,I used pickle some every year but I got disabled..UMM fry me a panful of fatback and a big ole cake of cornbread...lord have mercy
