summerday go to the Farmers Market or Grocery store and get your beans and corn fresh. Someone told me that green beans ( HALF RUNNERS) were selling for $50.00 a bushel this year. wow !

I wouldn't waste my time with frozen ingredients. I believe you would have a mushy mess.

No! if you are going to pickle beans and corn , use fresh ingredients.

I heard a woman on the swapshop this morning with 5 gal buckets of fresh picked green beans for 10. You can get corn from Walmart 33 cents per ear. Do it right if you are going to do it. I really never liked pickled corn and beans

Ooooh lawd, please don't do it.....you'll have a gosh aweful mess. I am the pickling princess....lol....and I've done everything wrong, like not even cooking it....lol.....to all things between such as your suggestion .

I don't have any green beans and I was wondering if frozen green beans and frozen corn will do to make pickle beans and corn?
