Pepper steak...

Fixed pepper steak and rice earlier. This morning cut 2 big round steaks into strips and put in a plastic bag with meat tenderizer and worchestershire sauce for a few hours. While the rice was cooking, sprayed large pan with non-stick spray and turned on high heat. Put steak and heaping teaspoon minced garlic in pan to sautee. Cut fresh green pepper into strips. In a cup put some soy sauce, black pepper, little bit of sugar, and a package of pork gravy mix with almost a cup of water and stirred this well. When the steak was bout done, put green pepper in pan with steak and sauteed until pepper was as done as I wanted, cooked but not mushy. Turned burner down to med. and poured in sauce mixture from cup. Stirred until boiling and let boil for a minute. Served over rice. It was really good and healthy, too.
