This recipe is very easy and tastes great! PEANUT BUTTER PIE 8 OZ. CREAM CHEESE (LITE), SOFTENED 8 OZ. COOL WHIP (LITE) 1/2 CUP SUGAR 3 DOUBLE PACKS OF REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER CUPS 1/3 CUP CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER 1 GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST COMBINE CREAM CHEESE, SUGAR AND PEANUT BUTTER AND BEAT UNTIL SMOOTH. FOLD IN COOL WHIP AND BLEND WELL. CHOP PEANUT BUTTER CUPS INTO SMALL PIECES AND STIR WELL INTO CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE. (BE SURE TO RESERVE SOME TO SPRINKLE ON TOP OF PIE). POUR INTO CRUST. REFRIGERATE AT LEAST 8 HOURS BEFORE SERVING OR PUT IN FREEZER. ** SUGGESTIONS: FREEZE THE PEANUT BUTTER CUPS BEFORE CHOPPING. IT MAKES THEM EASIER TO CHOP AND LESS MESSY. FREEZE THE PIE AND THEN TAKE IT OUT ABOUT 30 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING.

Foed64, that's the recipe Jim's Grill in Boonville used 35 years ago and it's still as good today as it was way back when.

I LOVE peanut butter pie!! It is one of my favorite pies out there.. however I can only make it when I know there will be a big crowd of people.. because it is too rich for some people, and others aren't willing to try it because for some reason i guess they think it will have too much PButter.

* 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese * 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar * 1 cup peanut butter * 1 cup milk * 1 (16 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed * 2 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crusts ( I use fat free cream cheese, fat free cool whip & 2% milk - cuts down on the calories)
1. Beat together cream cheese and confectioners' sugar. Mix in peanut butter and milk. Beat until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. 2. Spoon into two 9 inch graham cracker pie shells; cover, and freeze until firm. 3. Drizzle with sugar free chocolate syrup before freezing.
