Easy Pancake Mix
12 c. sifted flour
2 tbsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
4 c. dry milk
Instructions
Mix well all ingredients and store in airtight container.
When ready to use for each 1 1/2 cup pancake mix.
Use 1 egg beaten, 1 cup water, and 2 tablespoons melted shortening.
Mix well and fry on hot griddle.

APPLE - CINNAMON PANCAKES

1 c. pancake mix (12 to 14 pancakes)
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. peeled apples
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

Combine milk, egg, cinnamon, apples, vegetable oil and vanilla extract into the pancake mix. Stir approximately for 2 minutes until everything is combined smoothly. Pour into buttered saucepan and turn the pancakes over once you see the edges slightly brown and flip over once again.

Serving suggestion: Pour hot syrup over the pancakes with a spoonful of Cool Whip for a better taste!

Don't forget the baking powder and small amount of oil.

Lots of recipes online. I've always used Bisquick and the recipe on the side of the box. It's been a while since I've made them from scratch but if I recall correctly it's flour, milk, eggs and any small fruit you'd care to add.

Buy a box of Bisquick or Jiffy mix ... its's on the box. Here's the Jiffy one:

2 cups Jiffy Baking Mix
1 1/4 cup milk
Beat ingredients until blended. Bake on hot greased griddle or frying pan.
For richer pancakes, add 1 or 2 eggs and 2 Tbsp. shortening, melted , cooking oil

Makes 15 pancakes.

I have a very stupid question , can someone please tell me how to make a pancake without the premade batter???
