That just sounds too delicious... I'm not sure if I should make it or not!!! lol. I am afraid I'd eat the whole cake.

Missy it it excellent warmed and then vanilla ice cream on top...add a little hersheys syrup and pecans....mmmm good....made one for a friend for her birthday....yeah good...

Natrural here is another version ,,,soooo good and rich
Chocolate gooey butter cake 1 stick melted butter 1 box german chocolate cake mix 2 eggs 1 cup pecans Topping: 1 box powdered sugar 2 eggs 1 8oz cream cheese, softened Mix first 5 ingredients well,[they will be very thick.] spread in a greased and floured pan [9x13] Topping, mix 2 eggs, box powdered sugar and cream cheese, spread on top of cake, bake @ 350 for 45 min.

Ooey Gooey Chocolate Cake
Cake: 1 (18.25 oz) box choclate cake mix 1 large egg 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted Filling: 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened 2 large eggs 3 to 4 tablespoons cocoa powder 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 (16 oz) box powdered sugar 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted 1 cup almond toffee bits Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13x9x12” baking pan. For the cake: In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine the cake mix, egg, and butter and stir well. Pat mixture into bottom of prepared pan and set aside. For the Filling: Still using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Beat in eggs and cocoa powder. Lower speed of mixer and add in powdered sugar and beat well. Continue beating until ingredients are blended together, then slowly pour in butter and vanilla. Fold in chopped nuts. Pour filling onto cake mixture and spread evenly. Bake
40-50 minutes. Cool completely and cut into squares.
