No need for the smart *** comments, if you took the time to read what i posted i wanted to know what folks thought of getting the possible new restaurants. And you could also post a recipe for cheddar biscuits or OG salad dressing, but I do not need to justify to you what I post. If you don't like it don't read it and don't reply. Also restaurants serve food, and this board is about food...so this post is appropriate. Rudeness for the most part belongs on the community voice board as well, so you can post there if you feel the need to reply that way. Thanks.

OH LORD, HERE WE GO AGAIN! There is a thread with this rumor on the Community Voice page. This page is for RECIPES only.

Good evening all. This is not a recipe but it has to do w/ food, so I guess the post is appropriate. I heard that The Olive Garden and Red Lobster have confirmed to set up shop here in Wilkes. I know there are a lot of rumors around town about things of this nature, but I really hope these come true. Yes both are chain restaurants, but they are good ones. I think it will be great if they decide to come to town. It would create jobs, and hopefully promote more growth for our town. And lords knows I cannot resist cheddar biscuits from RL, nor salad and bread-sticks from OG! So I say bring them on!
