Hi,

you can join this group. It is for anyone who is diabetic beside I am also type 2 diabetic. I know it is not very easy for anyone, even me. I had type 2 diabetic since 2003 and It's running in my family generation. I dont believe what doctor said about obese. NAH NAH... Both of my parents was diabetic and my grandma was diabetic and she was passed on so young because that old time Dr dont know how to solve the plm. Now all of my four brothers and three sisters now have diabetic as I am. What's proof? who is right? Doctor or a family generation history???

Watch out for natural sugars from starch like in potatoes... When I had low sugar there was some things I had to change in my diet. This is hard to do and you will have to read up on what will help you the best.

3-4 meals a day worked better than my normal one dinner.

Replace all sugar in recipes with splenda...cooks just like sugar would

My husband has been diagnosed with type II diabetes. Needless to say my shopping and cooking habits need to change. If there's anyone else who cooks for someone who is diabetic, could you please share some recipes or meal ideas.
