I remember the Frugal Gormet! Can't remember his name, but I loved watching the show! I LOVE Alton Brown, Paula Deen, and Ace of Cakes (Duff Goldman). To tell the truth, I love Food NeEtwork! It is one of my 'default' channels (HGTV is the other). When there is nothing on my regular channels, I go to either HGTV or Food!

I like Rachel Ray, even though sometimes her perpetual perkiness gets to me! Her recipes are great! I love Giada's recipes! I tried her Panetone French Toast recipe, and it was absolutely the BEST breakfast! I can hardly wait for fall, and when they start putting out the Christmas stuff so that I can get more Panetone and make a big ol' brunch!

Sorry, meant to say ...Paula Deen..Can you say Cardiac Arrest? LOL That lady has gained 50 lb's in the past two years it seems. But ya know, you've got to love her though!

Would dearly love to see the Two Fat Ladies again. Now there was a show, that even though European, it could justa as easily been done in the states...except for the slurred speech when they were on the sauce!

And who could not love Justin...3 or 2 cups of "whinnne", which translated into a fifth of vino, plus more. His down home humor and "make sure you stir in between each addition" helped to make a sometimes boring show, still a pleasure to watch.

Good Lord, next I'll be yelling for the French Chef to come back.

Last word for now, does anyone remember the Frugal Gourmet`..this show had a short bald, bearded guy, who always used a fork to cook with..in a loft style apartment I think?

I saw an ad last night that Paula Deen is going to launch a new show in June. Unfortunately it will be shown at 1:30 p.m. Guess I'll have to learn to program my vcr!!!

Lol I had never pictured Giada like that. I do like Paula Deen because her recipes are simple and she lives pretty simple... she's so sweet to her family and friends. Every time I see her husband eating her food I just have to say AHWWW.

I love Good Eats and Alton Brown, but boy would I really love reruns of Two Fat Ladies - I adored that show.

I have to agree with singer. Giada gives me the creeps! With that big ol pirahna grin and the sociopathic voice I keep expecting her to pull a leg of human onto the cutting board. Rachel Ray is a total fruitcake! How can she be so chipper and hyped up all the time? Is she on crack or meth? Gimme good ol' down home Paula Deen any day!!!
And it's a shame Food Network doesn't show repeats of Justin Wilson and the Brit duo, Two Fat Ladies. Now there's great cooking!!!

LOL different people like different things and have different pet peeves... When I see Rachel I'm just like... DOES SHE EVER SHUT UP haha. She talks so fast and like she's bored out of her brain or something.

Giada is just so sweet and quiet... and she's so nice... plus I LOVE ITALIAN FOOD lol.

Oh and back to the original post, I have never seen Jamie At Home.. I will check into it though!

Hey Missy, I am just the opposite. Can't deal with Giada. Hate she shows all her teeth when she smiles, and her head is too big for her body. That is a real thing, you see it sometimes. Now Rachel to me is really naturally good and what she does. Has great repartee. Most times cute as a button.

I like Everyday Italian... mostly because I just love Giada to death. She's awesome. However, Rachel Ray just annoys me... I just can't put my finger on HOW.
