These are the best danged sugar cookies you'll ever eat. This is my Grandmother's recipe. They're soft and chewy... not crispy like most sugar cookies.

1 cup sweet butter (i use land o lakes)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup sour cream
5 cups flour

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg yolks. Add Vanilla, salt, baking soda, baking powder and sour cream. Gradually add flour. Cook 10-15 mins at 350 degrees.

ok this is kinda log but worth it.
1-2 sticks butter
1box grahm crumbs
1can sweet condinsed milk
1bag chocolate chips
1 bag butterscotch chips
i bag coconut

ok, melt 1-2 sticks butter in microwve,(depending on how big your dish is. butter should cover the bottom) pour into bottom of baking dish, pour in enough crumbs to make a good base, pat down till firm, drizzle candensed milk all over crumbs, cover with chocolate chips, use half bag of butterscotch chips,( or more depending on taste) then put coconut on top, the same way, light or heavy, your choice, then bake at 350 till coconut is lightly browned. let cool for 1 hour, DO NOT REFRIGERATE. cover with plastic wrap.
