That sounds like a pretty good casserole for my family as well. I have gotten to where I Like to have casserole recipes on hand to make ahead and just have to pop it into the oven. Dinner gets on the table much faster that way! :)

Sounds good, I agree. I do something similar with my left over chili beans. I make the chili beans with hamburger meat, dark red kidney beans and sometimes a can of black beans. After I eat them just as plain chili beans I then boil some penne pasta or elbow macaroni and mix it up. Then I put the mix in a glass casserole dish, top with shredded cheese or sliced cheese....and voila! Instant chili bean casserole.

SOUNDS GOOD

1 lb hamburger meat, browned and drained
3 cups of spiral noodles, cooked and drained
1 package of taco seasoning
1/2 c sour cream
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon of oregano and basil
1 8 oz package of cheese

Mix meat, sauce, seasoning and spices in a skillet and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, mix cooked noodles with sour cream and 1/3 of cheese in a greased casserole dish. Top with meat mixture and then remaining cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until cheese is well melted.

This is a good recipe. I do not like sour cream, but still love this. My kids even love it! :)
