Whichever recipe you use, try adding some heinz 57 steak sauce when you mix all the ingredients in. Gives it a zip. And you know how heinz 57 costs like a million dollars and some odd cents . Well, save a lot has an off brand that's packaged very similar and TASTES EXACTLY THE SAME. cheap cheap cheap

I use ground beef, cracker crumbs or bread crumbs or oatmeal, egg, chopped onion, ground cayenne pepper, ground red pepper, salt, black pepper, parsley, some salsa, tomato soup or milk to moist. Put into a loaf pan, on top of meatloaf I use salsa instead of ketchup. It makes a real flavorful meatloaf and not bland at all.

Great Meatloaf
2 lbs ground chuck 1 onion - chopped 1 carrot - grated 1/2 cup peas 1 egg 1 cup bread crumbs (Italian if you have them, but other works fine too)
Mix all together and form into four loaves.
Combine 1 cup of catsup and 1 Tbsp brown sugar. Pour over each loaf.
That makes it really good and crusty on the outside and the vegetables make it so moist and very tasty!
