I use hamburger, green pepper, onion, ketsup, one egg, soak about 3 slices of bread in milk, add salt and pepper, mix everything together. Then shape your meat loaf and put in a pan, add bacon strips on the top and bake. This was my grandmothers recipe, she was the best cook i have ever seen.

My hubby makes a meatloaf that is a little different than most. He has gotten such great feedback on it though.

He uses:
Ground Beef (1 1/2 to 2 lbs)
Crushed Ritz Crackers (1 full roll)
1 Small onion
Honey BBQ sauce (not sure on the measurment, he just pours it in)
1 Red bell pepper
1 Egg
Put in glass baking dish or metal rectangle pan
Add more BBQ sauce on top and bake @ 350 for 1 1/2 hours(may be done in less, am guessing)

Does anyone know the recipe for meatloaf that used to be on the Quaker Oats Box? I haven't seen it in awhile.
