I've got to put in a vote for "Holly Taters". It's the thing I miss the most about Holly Farms restaurants! Often imitated, never duplicated! Them was some good taters!

Kennebecs are grown in the Wilkes & mountain areas, we sell everywhere and we live in Wilkes. We have a Farm up in Ashe. There is just something about mountain grown potatoes with the taste. You guys should try them. Google it on the internet, there are many different kinds of potatoes.

I remember when I was growing up and my grandmother would fix the best fried potatoes. She sliced the potatoes and fried them in bacon grease. YUM!!!! I can almost feel my arteries clogging up right now. Those potatoes sure tasted good, though.

countrygl4evr, do you put anything in your mashed spuds? Some put milk or cream, others put cheese. We like to put a little sourcream and some chicken bullion. Delicious!

That's twice in 24 hours someone's spoken of cornbread. I WANT SOME CORNBREAD, sliced in the middle, with big hunk of butter melting inside. Can life really be that good?
