Making BBQ from Boston Butt

You can bake it, but do you have a big pot that will fit on top of the stove that will hold the butt?
If I baked it, I would put it in a roasting bag so it would be moist..
Do you like tomato base bbq or vinegar base?

I have made it both ways, and cook my butts on top of the stove till falling apart done.
Then I cool the butts and pull the pork off with my hands. (If you are using butts with bone in, of course remove the bone.) After pulling the pork apart, I then season it with my favorite bbq sauce, be it vinegar base or tomato base.
I never measure, but when making vinegar base, I use vinegar, black pepper, salt, texas pete, worchester sauce, a little water, a little sugar, and a little garlic salt. Mix this up to your taste and pour over pork, and mix well.

Tomato base is somewhat the same, but add tomato catsup, and the other ingredients till it suits your taste.

I want to make some BBQ, but the Boston Butt that I have is too big for a crockpot. Can anyone give me a recipe for baking it for BBQ? Thanks.
