1tbls cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
cover with water and place on stove let simmer slowly until the cranberries are falling open and done. let it simmer til it is of the
cosistancy you would like. we like ours a little thicker. it is great with
dinner and makes a great topping for cake or ice cream later on

Have you ever tried a squash casserole or a broccoli casserole. I fix them and everyone ask for that every year. If you would like the recipes let me know. I also fix a cornbread stuffing to go with everything.

For a great side dish - Sweet Potatos

2 large can of sweet potatos
1 small can of pineapple (crushed)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cinnamon
1/2 stick butter
1 bag of marshmallow (large size)

Drain both cans of sweet potatos. When they a baking they will make they own juice. Place both cans of sweet potato in a 12 x 8-inch baking dish. Place over potatos, crushed pineapples, than the brown sugar and cinnamon and over that place a small pieces of butter till it all gone. Bake in preheated over at 350* for 30 min. Remove and cover with marshmallow for a extra 5 to10 min. Check often marshmallow will burn. It's great and eazy.

Instead of plain water to soak a country ham, or any ham, try either apple juice or 7-Upf or the final soak. YOU WILL BE AMAZED at the flavor!!!!

Ever tried a baked country ham? Just soak for a few days or untill its salt taste suits you before cooking change water a few times.A 13 lb country ham will weigh around 20 lbs when soaked.
