@ Tarheel

I like the way you think. I sneak healthy foods on my family to. Your recipe sounds good.

I have a Hamilton Beach extractor with the strainer basket which was hard to clean until I used a toothbrush on it. Just rinse off what you can then brush while still holding under running water. Pretty easy that way. Cleaning immediately after use saves you time and energy. If any of that stuff dries on it's pretty tough to remove.

I love my juicer and my kids are starting to. Sometimes I juice things they don't eat like kale, cabbage and whatever else I can find...add some berries, apples, oranges or lemons or a combo of...take the juice and add it to a cup of plain yogurt or a scoop of vanilla ice cream (we use the sugar free vanilla), a cup or two of fat free milk and some ice and blend them a smoothie...they love it and have no idea there is good for them stuff in there. Sneaky, I know.

I don't have a recipe, but I like to juice a couple apples, oranges, a few carrots, and some fresh ginger together.

Does anyone on GoWilkes juice? If so list your favorite recipe.

Here's mine. Usually I drink it in the morning with breakfast.

One small lemon...half if larger, (meyer lemons are wonderful in this), one apple and two kale leaves. Makes one serving.
