Jello Cake

1 cake mix
1 large box instant jello mix(I like strawberry or lemon, but any kind will work)
Cool whip
Eggs

Prepare cake as directed on the box. I like to use 2 round cakes because it is easier to deal with the cakes when they are smaller. Once the cake is baked, remove from pan and let cool. Once the cake is cooled, put back into the pan upside down(topside facing down) Poke the cake with a fork to make small incisions in the cake. Prepare jello mix, only use about 1-1/14 cup of water. Pour hot jello mixture over the cake. Let sit in the pan until cool. Once cake is cool, frost with Cool whip and let sit for at least an hour.
