Nothing beats homemade strawberry freezer jam.

I use to make this stuff and it beat anything from the store. Fresh wild strawberries if you can get them.

We make a variety of jams each summer. Strawberry, Blackberry, Blueberry, Peach, and My favorite Sour Cherry!!! We grow all the fruit to make our jams, and it is made as soon as we harvest it. The jam, a little butter, in a warm cathead is mighty tasty on a cold winter day!!!

That sounds good. I do not know what it is about the jalapeno and fruit but what a great combination!

Raspberry Jalapeno from Redneck Chefs is the most addictive jam I've ever tried. You have to order online but it's worth it, although a bit pricey. They also have a great Jalapeno relish called "crack on a cracker" that is incredible. Sweet and with a kick. Also have many other varieties. Getting ready to order another half case.

I've never tried to make my own but I've gotten plenty of yummy ones at the Farmer's Market at Smoot Park and the Friday market in Wilkesboro.
