Our family makes a delicious Linguine salad.

Cook linguine noodles until tender, add a cup of Zesty Italian Dressing and Let cool.

Chop up:
Pepperoni
Salami
Cheddar Cheese in cubes
Diced green peppers
Diced Red Onions
Black Olives sliced
Broccoli chopped up in small pieces
Dill pickles chopped

Mix into chilled linguine and add Johnny's Salad Elegance.

It's delicious!

Schwann's frozen foods sells a bag of mini bowtie pasta w/ various veggies (peas, carrots, corn & red pepper)...all cut in tiny pieces. That's great with a can of diced tomatoes w/ italian seasonings (basil & garlic i believe). I also add additional italian seasonings, red wine vinegar & olive oil. It's best if you make it and refrigerate it overnight.

Macaroni salad
1 box of elbow macaroni
(cook until tender)
1 can drained Tuna or chicken or chopped roasted chicken
1 cup finely chopped green pepper
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup diced cucumber
1 cup cut up small pieces of brocolli
1 cup of a diced up tomato
1 cup of finely chopped califlower
2 boiled eggs...chop the eggs up in pieces
1 cup of shredded cheese
3/4 cup Mayonaise to Taste
1 cup vinegar
1 cup of sugar
Salt and Pepper to taste
What I do is after I have the macaroni done and the veggies chopped,
i boil the sugar and vinegar just until it comes to a boil.
Pour half over the cooked macaroni, then add your veggies.
then add mayonaise until it is however creamy you like it.
Then add the eggs, stir again, add more mayonaise if you like.
Taste and you might want to add more of the liquid.
Just keep adding the stuff until you get the taste you want.
Add the cheese last.
Taste better after being refrigerated over night.
The original recipe given to me calls for pouring all the liquid on the macaroni at once, but i found that i didnt like the taste, so i started adding it gradually, until it tasted the way I wanted it too.

might I suggest...

whole wheat pasta...like rotini...bowties...anything like that...
1 medium jar of salsa...it already has your tomatos, onion, bell pepper and good spices. mild, medium or hot...whatever you like

then just a dab of fat free mayo...this sort of binds it together better
3 ingredients that goes along way...

of course you can add any veggies you wish to it broccoli, zucchini, cauliflower, and other peppers...then if you would like top it off with a shredded cheese of your choice...
