If you want a chunk, go to the deli and tell them how thick you want it! 1/2 inch or whatever! And fry away! Or go to Hardees and get a bologna biscuit.

Ain't it suppose to be balony? Remember an old Merle Haggard (I think) song about him being in jail and the jailer's wife fixes his breakfast and she remembers to split the balony and burn it? Gosh, I just thought...I'm older than dirt to remember that!!!! I'm gonna go burn me some baloney.

The BEST bologna is the chunk bologna some country stores sell. Heck, Williams and Gentry in Yadkinville will even fix a sandwich for ya! If you can't find chunk, go with my old standby, Frosty Morn. And, if you have a fresh tomatoe and a good onion, by all means, add them to the sandwich.

goddess, I am with you on this one. Just wondered if wesman forgot to mention whether he recommended the bologna (or boloney) made of chicken running gears and pork umbrels, Lebanon, German, Kosher, Garlic, etc. Seemed like an odd post to me. Can't wait for his recipe for potted meat pate.
