If you have meat themometer inside temp should be 170º to be safe.

If the turkey is frozen my dad will put it in the oven the night before and cook it all night on 200. Dad takes a paper bag and soaks it with butter and sticks the turkey inside the bag. The brownest, prettiest, and moistest turkey in these here parts. LOL Good luck.

I normally cook a 10 to 14 lb. turkey, and I cook mine between 2.5 and 3 hours. Just make sure it's totally thawed out before starting.

we have a 22 pound turkey and it says on the butterball recipe page to cook it 3.5 to 4 hours at 325.

I cook every year, and I have to ask someone every year...how long and at what temp do you cook the turkey? I'm thinking 20 minutes per pound at 350, am I right??
