1 lb lean burger apprx 1/2 onion, chopped ketsup chilli powder
Brown the burger and onions together til done. Drain. Add enough ketsup to get the desire consistancy. Chilli powder to taste. Enjoy!

My best friend gave me her recipe for chili and every time I make it everyone raves about it! Here it is:
Hot Dog Chili
3 lbs lean ground beef 2-3 cups water 1 large onion, chopped 11/2 cups ketchup 1 tsp chili powder 2 tsp worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 2 T. chili sauce 1T. hot sauce
Cook the ground beef (LEAN!!) onion and water until the beef is done (no longer pink). Drain off the water and fat. Stir in the other ingredients and add enough water to obtain the desired consistency (1-2 cups). Stir and simmer for at least one hour. Yummy!!!

I too start with finethanxandu's receipe, but I add a tsp sugar or 2 for taste (brown sugar is even better), 1/2 tsp chili powder or 2 tsp texas pete, 1 tsp garlic salt.
I like to use chili sauce (hunts or heinz) rather than katsup.
I use 93% lean ground beef or ground chuck. I also slightly rinse my browned meat in warm tap water (save the rinse water---don't let it go down the drain or you will stop up your drain or mess up your septic tank.)
If you like the taste of ***in or cillantro you can add a dash or so for flavor---the thing about either of these herbs is that you either love it or hate it...there is no middle ground. If you like tacos or burritos from taco bell then you know the ***in and cillantro taste.
try and let us know how you like it. Pax Christi
