Fry them in a skillet till brown (or black is the best like fried bologna)

Ive always had this problem with OM.My kids wont even eat them.

is there any way to make the casing on hot dogs softer. i bought some OM bun length beef hot dogs and so help me the casing was so tough it almost made me sick to eat. i baked them in the oven instead of boiling them in water. anyone know of a better brand or a way to make the casing not quite so tough?
